About
Crew location maps, built for production.
Map Dept LLC makes crew location maps for film and TV productions anywhere in the United States.
What we do
A crew map has one job: get everyone on the crew, from the PA to the honeywagon driver, to the right gate on time.
You send the details from the call sheet. We turn them into a clean, one-page map: the route from your starting point, where to park, basecamp and truck points, the nearest emergency room, your contact and a QR code for turn-by-turn directions. It reads on a phone or on paper.
Checked, every time
Every map is checked against your request before it goes out, including the nearest emergency room.
Simple for anyone
Big directions, clear labels and a calm map that anyone can follow at 5 a.m.
Private by default
No ads, no tracking. Your maps are visible to you and to the people you share them with.
